Privacy Policy

PitCrew (trackdaypitcrew.app) is the data controller for your personal data. Contact us about privacy at hello@trackdaypitcrew.app.

• Account: your email address, display name, and Google profile name if you sign in with Google. We use emailed sign-in codes, so we never store a password.
• Machine and trackday details: discipline, run group, machine, circuit, garage and trackday ID.
• Setups and logs: tyre makes, pressures, temperatures, suspension settings and session notes.
• Photos: machine photos you upload. These are stored privately and only you can view them.
• Location: only when you allow it. Used to find your nearest circuit, check you are within 15 miles of a circuit on the free plan, and drop a pin on an SOS request.
• Paddock activity: SOS requests, offers of help, circuit ratings and private notes, and whether you are currently active in a paddock.
• Membership: your plan and renewal status. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
• Technical: basic device and error information to keep the app working, and small items saved on your device (such as your last visit and remembered vehicle).

• To provide the app (contract): your account, setups, paddock, SOS and membership.
• With your consent: device location. You can switch this off in your browser or phone settings at any time.
• Legitimate interests: keeping the community safe, stopping abuse and fixing problems.
• Legal obligation: keeping payment records for tax purposes.

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

• Your display name, machine, garage and request details on SOS requests and offers of help, including any pin you drop.
• Setups you choose to share, with your display name and tyre details.
• That you are active in a circuit's paddock (counted live).

Your email address, private notes, ratings, photos and unshared setups are never shown to other members.

• Lovable Cloud: secure hosting, database, sign-in and file storage.
• Stripe: payment processing for PitCrew Pro.
• Google: only if you choose "Continue with Google".
• Open-Meteo: circuit coordinates (not your location) to fetch weather.
• Email delivery: to send your sign-in codes.

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK-approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

• Account data, setups and notes: until you delete them or your account.
• Paddock presence: cleared daily. SOS requests: kept as history until deleted.
• Payment records: up to 6 years, as UK tax law requires.

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@trackdaypitcrew.app and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Data is encrypted in transit, and access is restricted so members can only reach their own private records. PitCrew is not intended for children under 13.

We will update the date at the top when this policy changes and let you know in the app about significant changes.
