Terms of Use

Last updated 13 October 2026

These terms explain the rules for using PitCrew, the trackday companion for drivers, riders and karters at UK circuits. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use PitCrew.

01

About PitCrew

PitCrew helps trackday participants connect in the paddock, ask for and offer help, log machine setups and tyre pressures, read circuit guides and check circuit weather. You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to use PitCrew.

02

Motorsport is dangerous

Motorsport, track driving, riding and karting carry a real risk of serious injury or death. You take part entirely at your own risk and choice.

  • Never use PitCrew while driving or riding on track.
  • The rules of the circuit, the trackday organiser, marshals and officials always come first. PitCrew never overrides them.
  • You alone are responsible for the safety, roadworthiness and track-readiness of your machine, kit and helmet.
03

Setups, tyre pressures and weather

Tyre pressure suggestions, setup notes, track temperature estimates, weather and circuit guides are general guidance only. They are not professional engineering advice and may be wrong or out of date.

  • Always follow your tyre and vehicle manufacturer's guidance and check pressures with a calibrated gauge.
  • Track temperatures are estimates. Weather comes from third-party forecasts.
  • Setups shared by other members are their own opinion and are not checked by PitCrew.
04

Paddock SOS is not an emergency service

Paddock SOS is for borrowing tools, parts and a helping hand. It is not an emergency or medical service. In an emergency, alert the nearest marshal or circuit official, or call 999.

  • Help offered through PitCrew is voluntary and between members. PitCrew does not guarantee anyone will respond, or the quality, safety or condition of any help, tool or part.
  • Borrowed items are an arrangement between members. Return them promptly and in the same condition.
  • Only offer help you can genuinely give. False offers or fake requests can cost someone their session and will lead to your account being removed.
05

Your account and behaviour

Keep your sign-in codes private and give accurate details. You must not:

  • post offensive, abusive, misleading or illegal content, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;
  • harass, spam or impersonate other members;
  • fake your location to get around the trackside rules, or try to break, scrape or misuse the app.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

06

Your content

You own the setups, notes, photos and messages you add. You give PitCrew permission to store and show them to run the app, including showing shared setups and SOS requests to other members. Private notes, ratings and photos stay visible only to you.

07

PitCrew Pro membership

  • PitCrew is free to use. PitCrew Pro costs £10 per year or £1.50 per month, including any VAT that applies. There is no free trial.
  • Payments are taken securely by Stripe. Pro renews automatically until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time from your Account. Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Under UK consumer law you may cancel within 14 days of first buying for a refund, unless you have already started using Pro features, in which case we may deduct the value of the time used.
  • We will give you notice before any price change, and it will apply from your next renewal.
08

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep PitCrew running, but it is provided "as is" and we cannot promise it will always be available, accurate or error-free.

To the extent allowed by law, PitCrew is not liable for loss of track time, damage to vehicles or property, crashes, injury, or loss arising from advice, setups, tools or help exchanged through the app. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be limited.

09

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will show the new date at the top. You can stop using PitCrew and delete your account at any time. Your use of personal data is covered by our Privacy Policy.

10

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may also use your local courts. Questions? Email hello@trackdaypitcrew.app.
